BANGKOK, May 13, 2026 – Thai Union Group PCL today received its Top 1% award at the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2026 Distinction Ceremony in Bangkok, an event that celebrates the world’s most sustainable companies. The company received a score of 89 out of 100, the highest among Yearbook members in the Food Products category.

The distinction was based on Thai Union’s performance in S&P Global’s 2025 Corporate Sustainability Assessment. More than 9,200 companies were assessed globally, with 848 included in the Yearbook. Within the food products industry, 30 companies were selected from 241 that underwent assessment.

Adam Brennan, Chief Sustainability and Communications Officer at Thai Union, said: “Since last year’s recognition, we have continued to strengthen the systems behind our sustainability work, from digital traceability across our seafood operations to more structured efforts that protect workers in our supply chain, while also making measurable progress on climate action and marine ecosystem protection. Being recognized at this level reinforces that this work is becoming more deeply integrated into how Thai Union operates and how we build long-term resilience in the business.”

The recognition reflects Thai Union’s broader sustainability progress under SeaChange® 2030, the company’s strategy for advancing responsible sourcing, reducing environmental impacts, strengthening social protections across supply chains, and supporting long-term ocean health.
