Thai Union Group is dedicated to providing nutritious seafood to millions worldwide while aspiring to lead in marine health and nutrition. In 2024, we introduced TUNG, which aligns with World Health Organization standards. These guidelines set benchmarks for shelf-stable products across our brands, ensuring a shift toward healthier options that support consumer health and well-being.

Alignment with International Guidelines
- TUNG aligns with leading international guidelines, including nutrient benchmarks from WHO, FAO, EFSA, and CODEX, as well as U.S. and European dietary recommendations. It also draws on scientific research and food safety requirements to set clear criteria for healthier, shelf-stable products that ensure nutrition, safety, and consumer acceptability without compromising taste.
- Thai Union improves products by focusing on key nutrients like fat, sodium, and sugar. Guided by the principles of Remove, Reduce, and Replace, we reformulate and innovate across brands. Working with manufacturers and suppliers, we align products with TUNG, our nutrition framework, while ensuring taste and consumer preference remain uncompromized.
