Transparency and Governance

At Thai Union, we take pride in the transparency of our communications with stakeholders, customers and the industry. We continuously share our learnings and provide regular updates on our progress and the challenges we face.

Together, Thai Union’s leadership, policies and processes ensure our business is focused on ethical conduct and achievement of our sustainability objectives across our operations.

Thai Union also aims to help make the global seafood industry accountable to the highest standard by advancing and advocating progressive public policy.

Thai Union’s Sustainable Development Committee, chaired by our Group Director of Sustainable Development, takes a leading role in managing and overseeing sustainability across the company and our subsidiaries. The committee consists of appointed members from heads of key business units and meets on a biannual basis to discuss key challenges and define the sustainability direction of the Thai Union Group. Through the chairperson, the committee reports directly to the Global Leadership Team and CEO. Our defined strategic direction encompasses our stakeholders’ concerns, key challenges in the industry and our sustainability goals and strategies.
