6 July 2018, BANGKOK – Sealect, Thailand’s number one canned tuna from Thai Union Group, joined in celebrating the winners of the 2018 Sealect Volleyball Thailand Championship Division 1. The women’s champions, PEA Sisaket, prevailed against a tough and talented team from Vietnam, ending in a 3-0 score to take the win. The men’s champions, Thai Air Force, went up against their countrymen, Thai Army, in a hard-fought battle to claim the win with a score of 3-1. Both teams were awarded with the H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Cup. Additionally, team members received prize money and a month’s supply of Sealect Tuna.

Sealect Tuna, a long-time sponsor of Thai volleyball, stresses the importance of lean protein in athlete’s diets, critical for building and maintaining muscle mass. Plus, tuna is loaded with Omega 3, and is a good source of potassium, vitamin B12, and selenium—an antioxidant that helps boost the immune system. It is no wonder tuna is the protein of choice for competitive athletes and fitness enthusiasts around the world.
