Thai Union Shares Expertise with 75 Talented Financial Students 17 universities Ahead of CFA Thailand Research Challenge

19 DEC, 2016, Bangkok — Recently, Thai Union Group Plc’s Investor Relations department shared their expertise with 75 students from 17 universities as they prepared to compete in CFA Society Thailand’s CFA Institute Research Challenge. Led by Wai Yat Paco Lee,Thai Union’s General Manager for Investor Relations and Corporate Investment, the team provided information about the company’s milestones, operations, growth strategy and business trends.Thai Union was chosen by CFA Society Thailand for this year’s case study for the young contestants, who received insights about the corporate world during the briefing in Bangkok

For this competition, the students have to submit their own analyses on Thai Union, including its corporate value. The national winner of this challenge will represent Thailand in the regional and global round competition.

CFA Society Thailand is a non – profit financial and investment association. It was founded with the aim to develop Thailand’s financial and investment industry in several areas including potential, expertise and competitiveness, as well as professional ethics. CFA Society Thailand is the local organizer of The CFA Institute Research Challenge, a global financial competition for undergraduate students to compete in value evaluation and securities analysis.
