Thai Union Donates SEALECT Tuna to Support Flood Victims in Southern Thailand

Bangkok – December 6, 2024 – Thai Union Group, led by Ms. Pornpassara Ekkakul, Section Manager, Sustainable Development, together with Mr. Nich-navin Chullabrahm, Head of Corporate Communications, i-Tail Corporation PCL, and Ms. Jutaporn Pitipattarapong, Assistant Manager Human Resources, Thai Union Manufacturing Co., Ltd., donated 200 cartons of SEALECT Tuna cans to local communities impacted by flooding in southern Thailand. In addition, Mr. Kraisorn Chansiri donated THB 100,000 to support those affected. Prof. Dr. Narumon Pinyosinwat, Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, and Mr. Bancha Sukkaew, Director-General of the Department of Fisheries, accepted the donations, which will be included in disaster relief packages to provide nutritious meals for people affected by the floods. The handover ceremony was held at the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives’ office in Bangkok recently.
