Thai Union Appoints New Head of Group HR, Mr. Shue Chung Chan, Responsible for Over 46,000 Employees Worldwide

4th May 2016, Bangkok, Thailand –- Thai Union Group Public Company Limited (TU), the world's largest shelf-stable tuna processor and owner of a portfolio of leading global seafood brands, has appointed Mr. Shue Chung Chan as Head of Group HR. He will report directly to Mr. Thiraphong Chansiri, President & CEO of Thai Union Group.

Mr. Shue Chung Chan first joined Thai Union in 1996 to oversee production and operations including engineering, quality control, logistics and other matters. In 1995, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering Management from Oregon State University, USA. In 2002, he completed his MBA from Bangkok University and Directors Certification Program organized by the Thai Institute of Directors Association.

Mr. Chan will retain both the position of Executive Director at Thai Union, overseeing factory operations strategies and acting Managing Director at Thai Union Graphics Co., Ltd.
