Thai Union Donates Products to the Thai Red Cross for COVID-19 Support

02 June 2020, BANGKOK − Thai Union Group PCL. donated more than 10,000 cans of SEALECT sardines as humanitarian assistance to Thailand’s Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce. The products will help support the mobile kitchen of the Thai Red Cross Society, providing food for those impacted by COVID-19. Saran Rattanarungruengchai, General Manager – Emerging Markets at Thai Union donated the products to Somdet Susomboon, Director General of the DITP together with Janprapa Vichitcholchai, Deputy Director, Fund Raising Bureau and Varunyupa Savannakich, Assistant Director, Fund Raising Bureau of the Thai Red Cross Society. As part of it’s SeaChange® sustainability strategy, Thai Union has made a commitment to support efforts towards Sustainable Development Goal 2, Zero Hunger.
