Thai Union Group Provides Food and Essential Supplies to Support Flood-Affected Communities in Southern Thailand

Bangkok, December 4, 2025 – Thai Union Group PCL, a global seafood leader, together with i-Tail Corporation PCL and Thai Union Feedmill PCL, has delivered assistance to those affected by severe flooding in Southern Thailand. The support includes essential food products and daily necessities valued at a total of THB 3.4 million, aimed at easing the hardship faced by local communities while supporting frontline workers and volunteer organizations involved in relief efforts.

Thai Union has provided a range of essential food items and supplies—including SEALECT tuna products, SEALECT canned mackerel, ready-to-eat meals, soy milk, drinking water, cooking ingredients, as well as pet food for dogs and cats. These items were distributed through government agencies, private-sector partners, and media organizations including the Songkhla Provincial Hall, Federation of Thai Industries (Songkhla Chapter), Prince of Songkla University, Singhanakhon District Office, Department of Industrial Works, Department of Fisheries, Bua Phet Rescue Association, the Goodness Foundation by Dr. Panadda Wongphudee️, and E-Jan.

Alongside supporting local communities, Thai Union has placed strong emphasis on the safety of its employees in the affected areas. The company has prepared 4,800 relief kits for employees affected by the floods and is providing support to help ease the financial burden of home repairs and recovery.

In addition, SEALECT, a brand of Thai Union Group, has joined the “Ruam Jai Thai: Restore the South” initiative led by the Department of Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce. Through this initiative, SEALECT is offering high-quality products at special prices to help reduce household expenses and improve access to nutritious food for families in the South during this challenging time.
