THAI UNION DONATES FOOD TO HELP FAMILIES AFFECTED BY FLOODING IN THE SOUTH OF THAILAND

Thai Union Group PCL and its subsidiary, Songkhla Canning PCL have delivered more than 119,000 servings of seafood products for humanitarian relief to help people affected by flooding in southern Thailand. The donation, to those impacted by heavy rains across several provinces since last December, is in line with Thai Union’s commitment to support people living and working in communities where the company operates. The seafood products were distributed by a local authority, two local governments, a university and Mr. Chuan Leekpai, Speaker of the House of Representatives, to people mainly in Nakhon Si Thammarat and nearby areas, Pawong Sub-district Municipality Songkhla, Marine Office 4 Songkhla Branch and the Prince of Songkhla University.
