Thai Union continues to provide humanitarian assistance to migrant workers impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak in Samut Sakhon

In line with Thai Union’s commitment to support local communities where it operates, the company recently donated 4,000 cans of SEALECT sardines to help migrant workers impacted by COVID-19 in Samut Sakhon. The donation was conducted through local non-profit organizations in Samut Sakhon, including the Migrant Worker Rights Network (MWRN) and the Labour Protection Network (LPN). Khun Siriluk Younglert, Senior Manager for Human Resources Shared Services, represented Thai Union when handing the donations over to MWRN and LPN.

Thai Union has also, cumulatively, donated 32,600 servings of its products and 630 kilograms of frozen seabass fillets since the resurgence of COVID-19 in Samut Sakhon in mid-December 2020, to help people in quarantine and support medical and other related teams in the Samut Sakon Provincial Public Heath Office who are handling the current wave of COVID-19 outbreaks.
