Thai Union is committed to Healthy Living together with 40 leading private companies to continue support for CONNEXT ED

BANGKOK – October 27, 2021 – Thai Union’s sustainability strategy, SeaChange®, focuses on improving the lives of people living and working in the regions where it operates. This includes educating children in local communities, as it is the foundation to achieving an improved wellbeing.

CONNEXT ED, one of the corporate social responsibility projects that Thai Union supports, has been recognized by the Center for Asian Philanthropy and Society (CAPS) - a research and advisory organization in Asia - as a great example of success through a public-private partnership in providing educational opportunities for disadvantaged children. CONNEXT ED is one of 20 programs selected from 11 countries throughout Asia.

Thai Union Group PCL is one of the private organizations co-founded the CONNEXT ED Foundation in 2019, providing educational opportunities for children through supports of knowledge, budget, and personnel from the company in continuously organising activities with school partners.

The Company’s work through the program is aligned with its global sustainability strategy, SeaChange®, in which one of the goals is to improve the lives of people in local communities where it operates.
