Thai Union: How Partnerships Are Reducing Human Rights Risks

Sep. 5, 2016, Bangkok — There is a growing realization that many of the human rights issues documented in global supply chains cannot be solved by individual organizations, and collaborative efforts with a multi-stakeholder approach are the most effective way to tackle these challenges. Thai Union’s Group Director of Sustainable Development, Darian McBain, PhD, recently spoke about Thai Union’s collaborations for human rights management during the Innovation Forum webinar entitled Leading corporate approaches to human rights risk management.

Working with people on the ground who understand the situation toward a common goal is key to achieving sustainability.
